Well folks, the time has come! I need to tackle this “Blogger Butt” that I have developed!
I have always been a very active person, but since I started blogging more frequently the last couple of years I have become less active and that has resulted in me putting on some very unwanted weight. I was SO EXCITED when I was told that I was selected to be a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger and that I could share my journey with all of you! I have heard about Nutrisystem success stories and actually had a good friend of mine that lost a ton of weight with Nutrisystem years ago (that’s you Lorie) so the idea of checking it out, trying out all of their products and actually losing weight was VERY appealing to me.
I have tried weight loss plans in the past and have succeeded with different programs, but things changed after I hit 30 years old. It is much harder for me to lose weight! I am really busy between my mortgage / real estate work and blogging, so I have a REALLY bad habit of not eating ALL DAY, getting to the point of feeling like I am starving to death and then making the wrong choices when I do eat. Honestly speaking, I need the hard work done for me which is why Nutrisystem is perfect. They count the calories for me and tell me what to eat! It is soooooo easy, the foods are actually marked Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack… I just grab whichever one I should be eating and get right to it!
So I am excited that Nutrisystem has given me the opportunity to try their program and report my progress to you. Over the next 4 months, each week I will bring you an update on my journey and give you the good, the bad and the exciting! So please check in to see how I am doing each week, if you are on a weight loss journey too, I would love to share notes and encourage each other!
My Nutrisystem arrived in two parts, a big giant cooler with all of the cold stuff and a big box full of pantry items. It looks like I have a pretty good supply of everything in their product line so I will test them all out and tell you what I like and so forth! I noticed right away that they have a LOT of snacks and the ones that I have tried have been REALLY GOOD! I tried their Red Velvet Whoopie Pie and the Orange Creamsicle Pops and they were EXCELLENT!
I can not wait to share my progress with all of you and look forward to hearing about your weight loss progress as well. Jump on board and lets do this!
