This isn’t your Mama’s Banana Bread!
Brown Sugar Pecan Banana Bread is delicious! It is also so easy to whip up that you will be accidentally on purpose allowing your bananas to turn brown JUST so you can make it . So grease those baking pans and whip up a batch.
½ cup softened butter
1 cup Brown sugar
2 ripe bananas
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350
Grease a loaf pan
Cream softened butter, eggs and sugar in a mixer
Slowly add flour, baking powder and salt
Mash 2 bananas and add to the mixture
when all is incorporated pour into loaf pan and allow to sit for 5 minutes
Bake for one hour or until a toothpick inserted in center indicates doneness. Do NOT check before 50 minutes by opening the oven as it might cause it to sink!
