Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Casserole is one of my families FAVORITES! It takes minutes to throw together and ends up being a nice hearty meal with all of the good stuff in the casserole!
Ingredients
- 2 Bags of Frozen Broccoli Florets (or four cups cooked fresh Broccoli Florets)
- 3/4 Block of Cream Cheese
- 1 Block of Monterey Jack Cheese (8oz) Shredded
- 2 Cups of Cooked Chicken
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Oregano
- Sale & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook Broccoli and place in a cooking pot on medium heat
- Cut up Cream Cheese and put into pot with Broccoli stirring gently
- Add 1/2 of the Shredded Cheese to the pot and gently stir until mostly melted
- Add Chicken to pot and generously season with Onion Powder, Garlic Powder and Oregano
- Once incorporated sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Transfer mixture to a 9x9 square pan lightly sprayed with cooking oil
- Spread mixture evenly in pan and top with remaining shredded cheese
- Sprinkle Oregano and Pepper on top of the casserole before baking
- Bake in oven for 30 minutes on 375 degrees
- Once cooked, turn oven to High Broil and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until done
- Let sit for 10 minutes to slightly cool before serving
