Thank goodness we made to Friday! Let’s get the weekend going with some fun and frugal decorating shall we? If you have a buck, then you have all you need to create a hauntingly good time in your home! Today’s Dollar Tree DIY project is just that, a simple Dollar Tree product turned into something crafty and creative. Take a look below at these spooky mouse shadows and see how easy it is to do your own. In no time, your house will be looking like a haunted mansion full of unwanted furry critters. Dollar Tree DIY: Spooky Mouse Shadows

Supplies Needed:
Mouse die cuts
Tape

These mouse die cuts are sold in packs of 15 at your local Dollar Tree store. Just look in the Halloween decor section. As you can see, your dollar will go a long way! There are so many places you can display these mice that you may wish to grab two packages for that price.

Directions:
For this DIY project, you have the luxury of being as creative as you wish.  In our home, we simply added a bit of tape to the back of the mice and placed them on our stairway. We had some face each other as though they were plotting and playing, and some running solo as if they didn’t want to get caught!

We then added some to our fireplace mantel to give it an extra creepy look. As you can see it turned out quite cute.

You can add these mice to lamp shades, over doorways, on shelves, mantels, or anywhere you wish for a pop of fun. They are sure to add some quick Halloween charm no matter where you decide to put them!

Head to the Dollar Tree and grab a package of your own and start getting crafty! There is no limit to the number of places you can display these little critters.
