Memorial Day is just around the corner, so let’s get in the spirit shall we? Add some patriotic charm to your space when you make this simple and CHEAP Memorial Day centerpiece! It is a great way to decorate your holiday table as well as a fun craft to even do with the kids. We bought everything we needed at our local dollar store too, so no worries about breaking the bank (or your back!) trying to craft this one. Take a look at how you can make your own!

If you are unable to find the pieces we used here, just opt for something similar. You can always put your own variation on this piece to make it work for you and what you have on hand.

Directions:
1. Begin by tearing your tissue paper up and then fluffing it into a ball. Stuff it into the sugar shaker to act as a filler. It will also keep your picks in place.
2. Place the lid back on the shaker. Place the picks through the holes of the shaker creating a bouquet.
3. Use your ribbon to decorate the jar, tie on the picks, etc.
4. Add an other decor you wish. We took the tops of one of our picks and stuck it on the front of the shaker for some extra fun.

There you have it! Your Memorial Day centerpiece is now complete. They are so easy and cheap to craft, you can make several to serve as decor at your next party or even to give as gifts.
