It’s Friday! So you know what that means, it is time to get crafty. Because Halloween is just a few weeks away, let’s take a look at the perfect spooky snack. This cute clementine pumpkin snack is not only fun to make, but fun to eat as well. You can whip one up in just minutes, using minimal supplies, plus it provides a healthier alternative during the season of sweets. Take a look below at how you can make your very own clemetine pumpkin snack.

With the exception of the clementine, we were able to find all of the supplies we needed at our local dollar store.

Directions:

  1. Begin by placing the clemetine inside the plastic bag. Push it down to the bottom of the bag.
  2. Twist the bag closed using your pipe cleaners. We used an orange one to tie it closed and a green one to create vines.
  3. Add glue to the google eyes and place them on the pumpkin.
  4. Using your scissors, snip out a nose and mouth and glue them on as well.

That’s it! You can get as creative as you want and create a pumpkin face that is funny, cute, or scargy. Why not grab a whole bag of clementines and make a whole patch of these treats? Kids will love joining in on the fun, and you will love that it is a great alternative to candy.

So are you inspired to make your own? If so, start crafting. And of course, don’t forget to take a picture of your creations and kiddos in action and post them to our Facebook page or Community Chat page. Everyone would love to see them, and we would love to give you a shout out.
