1/2 cup of each: Walnuts, peanuts, pecans, almonds, macadamia nuts, cashews

1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper

1/2 teaspoon of dried basil

1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon of taragon
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions:
1. Begin by making a single layer of the assorted nuts on a baking sheet. You may coat the sheet with non stick spray prior, but it is not typically necessary. 2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil and dried herbs well.

3. Either spoon or brush on the mixture onto the nuts. Coat them well.

4. Sprinkle the nuts with salt and pepper. If your nuts are already heavily salted, you can omit adding more salt.

5. Place in the oven at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until nice and golden.Serve these nuts warm or cool. Both ways are so tasty. They are excellent when served with wine, cheese and crackers, or other cocktail appetizers and snacks. So gather your supplies and give this simple and savory roasted nuts recipe a try.
