No exceptions! Try to get a solid 8 hours of sleep per night. Use relaxation techniques to help yourself relax and unwind. Use soft linens. Turn on a fan or soft music. Getting a solid night’s sleep helps you have a more productive day.

Drink 8 glasses of water.
Yes you will have to use the bathroom a great deal, but you will also flush your system of toxins that may be slowing you down. Plus, you will stay hydrated which means you will be more alert.

Avoid sugar.
Sugar may give you a temporary moment of energy, but you are sure to crash soon after. Avoid the false promise of energy that sugar offers, and instead opt for a whole wheat, high protein, or fiber rich snack.

Take a power nap.
Set an alarm so you snooze for no more than 20-30 minutes. This power nap is perfect for helping you feel revived and rested without the effect of grogginess.
