Here are the deals at Dollar General this week!  Dollar General is one of those stores that hot deals pop up out of nowhere.  I will highlight any deals that I see at the top of this post and also do individual deal posts if something good pops up so check back before you shop!

HOLY MOLEY the deals that popped up this weekend were INSANE!!

Jacinda B. posted on our coupon chat page about $.01 pillow pets at Dollar General and a BUNCH of people were able to score this deal and others for a PENNY!  It was nuts! 

Apparently, Dollar General has a bunch of stuff marked down in their stores, the price tag doesn’t reflect the mark down price, but they are ringing up for one penny.  Apparently the Yellow Star items with an F10 (F11 is not $.01) and anything with a PURPLE DOT is ringing up 90% off.  Most of the penny items have been found in RED, PURPLE or BLACK boxes and marked Amazing Values.  Let everyone know if you find a deal!!  Keep in mind that Dollar General isn’t always the most coupon friendly store out there, so plan on being patient.  If they give you a hassle about it being priced a penny make sure you call their customer care line 877-463-1553, choose option 3, it is my understanding that it is their policy to sell you what is in your cart.  I am new to this deal too but TOTALLY worth checking out in my book!
