Can you believe it is almost time for kick off? Super Bowl Sunday is almost here and you will want to get your game day decor ready! It is not too  late to grab a few supplies and give this frugal and fun Super Bowl Candle Holder a try. You only need a few items, a few minutes, and in no time you will have the perfect Super Bowl Candle Holder for displaying on your game day snack table. Take a look below at how to create your own!

Super Bowl Candle Holder

Supplies needed:
Square glass candle holder
Football themed scrapbook paper
Brown scrap paper
Brown ribbon
Scissors
Craft glue

We were able to find the candle holder at our local dollar store, and football themed paper at our local craft store for around .50 cents. Now that is a score!

Directions:
1. Begin by cutting a 2 inch strip from the football paper. Wrap it around the candle holder and secure it with glue.
2. Cut a length of brown ribbon and wrap it around the center of the candle holder next, directly over the scrapbook paper. Secure it with glue, pressing firmly until it is adhered.
3. You can now cut a small oval out of your brown scrap paper. This will look like a tiny football. Using some white paper, cut a few small strips to glue on for the stitches of the ball.

Once your embelishments are dry, your candle holder is ready for use. Drop a votive in OR add a small plant, some snacks such as peanuts, or even silverware. It is the perfect piece for adding some fun to your game day decor!
