IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CURRENT PROMOTION AT PUBLIX!
As expected, it has been CRAZY at Publix today with the NEW Snack, Share, Save Promotion and the MONEY MAKERS that I posted about HERE.
People have been scoring their deals all morning and posting their hauls in our chat room which is SUPER EXCITING. I am sure that this has caused pure chaos at the store level since shelves were cleared very early today and rain checks have been requested left and right. A few things have happened which are notable that I would like to bring to your attention:
- GREAT NEWS!! A NEW Rain Check form has been created by Publix Corporate and sent to stores which will help you when you go to redeem your rain check. It gives specifics on the promotion and the store can write in the quantity that you are allowed to purchase when redeeming your rain check. This is going to make it SO MUCH EASIER to use your rain check later on. I would recommend that you go and get yours as soon as possible since most stores will be out of product at this point. If your store doesn’t have these yet they will likely have them by tomorrow. The rain check looks like this:
2. MANY STORES have put limits on the number of items that you can purchase from the Snack, Share, Save promotion. Some stores are limiting to TWO of the same item and some are limiting to EIGHT of the same item. This will depend upon your individual store and the volume of sales that they are seeing. It is up to each store to determine what limits they want to set.
3. It seems that many stores are now indicating that they will require you to purchase TWO DIFFERENT PARTICIPATING ITEMS listed on the $5.00/2 Publix Coupon that is located in the Green Advantage Flyer in order to use the coupon. With this in mind, you could still purchase ONE Fruttare and ONE Lipton for each coupon and still end up with a money maker scenario. You will just have to mix and match your deals to make it work. I have updated my matchups to include a new scenario with this in mind. You can find the matchups HERE.
4. SOME STORES are limiting you to TWO of the $5.00/2 Publix Coupons (Green Advantage Flyer) PER HOUSEHOLD per day. Again, we have to comply with whatever rules Publix puts in place so with that in mind, I have included a scenario at the top of my Snack, Share, Save post HERE as well as my Weekly Hottest Deals post HERE that is still a money maker scenario with that rule in place.
Let’s all keep in mind that Publix is an AMAZING store to shop at and especially to coupon at. The combination of the weekly sale, snack share save promotion AND the $5 off 2 coupon in the green flyer has created the perfect storm. I am sure that Publix is doing their best to satisfy their customers and at the same time try to limit their exposure to a HUGE financial impact of giving away money to zillions of people because of the money maker situation. Lets all do our best to be courteous, respect the rules that each individual store puts in place and just enjoy the ride. This week is OFF THE CHAIN with deals regardless of how you shake it up and even after the new guidelines for this promotion.
