CVS Best Deals 10/2 – 10/8

Here are the BEST DEALS at CVS for this week. There are some good deals this week but it was a little bit slim on the ECB deals to do a huge scenario. I LOVE the Tide / Gain Detergent deal, this is an excellent deal in my opinion and one that you might want to start out with if you have the ECBs. I will provide a link at the bottom of the post for the rest of the ad with coupon match-ups just in case you want to check that out too. I have also added a “Rolling Scenario” for those that have been following my matchups and scenarios using your Extra Care Bucks (ECBs).
FOR THE NEWBIES:
ECB
=Extra Care Bucks. ECB’s are like a customer appreciation program that
CVS has where they “Reward” their customers for shopping at their stores
and purchasing certain products. ECB’s are like cash in their
stores. Unlike Walgreens where the reward is attached to a product, ECBs
are not connected to any specific product, so you could actually
purchase one product that produces an ECB and turn around and purchase
the same product again(as long as you haven’t reached your limit on that
item)and get another ECB!! Its a little bit hard to grasp until you
have used them and it comes together. You will love CVS as much as me
before you know it!!

My rolling scenarios are just an idea. You can play around with it any way you want to with CVS,
there are very little restrictions on using your ECBs except that you
are limited to the number of deals that you can do since they are
connected to your ECB card. You also do NOT have to do them all at one
time, since they are connected to your card, you can do one transaction,
then go back and do another or even go to a different store if they
don’t have all of the merchandise that you are looking for. I am going
to try to end up with the lowest OOP for the most merchandise. My rolling scenarios do NOT include tax since that will vary widely depending on where you live and your tax rate.
*NOTE:
If you are following my rolling scenarios, you will be starting with
$3.00 in ECBs from last week, plus if you take the pledge not to trash your ECBs you will have $2.00 more for a total of $5.00. Use this in Transaction #1 and you start
with no OOP!

I LOVE the Tide / Gain Deal. If you are starting with more ECBs, I would probably work that deal into the mix.
Please let me know how you all do this week at CVS. I am not loving the deals, but as you can see, there are always good deals to get in on and ways to stretch your ECBs so that you get a LOT for your money! I would say that a 90% savings is nothing to sneeze about
