For those of you just getting started with CVS, here is some basic information that you will need to know:
ECB
=Extra Care Bucks. ECB’s are like a customer appreciation program that
CVS has where they “Reward” their customers for shopping at their stores
and purchasing certain products. ECB’s are like cash in their
stores. Unlike Walgreens where the reward is attached to a product, ECBs
are not connected to any specific product, so you could actually
purchase one product that produces an ECB and turn around and purchase
the same product again(as long as you haven’t reached your limit on that
item)and get another ECB!! Its a little bit hard to grasp until you
have used them and it comes together. You will love CVS as much as me
before you know it!!

I am all about rolling my ECBs and having the lowest OOP as possible. There are other blogger’s wo do scenarios which include other merchandise in their deals. The OOP may be higher, but you can get a variety of different products. With CVS you don’t have to worry what you are rolling your ECBs into as long as you haven’t reached the DEAL LIMIT for that particular deal. So feel free to play around. The idea is that you want to be able to get as much merchandise as possible (that you will use) for the lowest OOP and using one weeks ECBs for the transactions of the next week. Get it? COOL HUH?
