As you all know
by now, I LOVE CVS, I rarely shop at the competitor because CVS is just
so easy to deal with. They do limit you to the number of transactions
that you can do each week, but trust me, you can still build up a great
supply of the items that you need very easily if you stick with it.
FOR THE NEWBIES:
ECB
=Extra Care Bucks. ECB’s are like a customer appreciation program that
CVS has where they “Reward” their customers for shopping at their stores
and purchasing certain products. ECB’s are like cash in their
stores. Unlike Walgreens where the reward is attached to a product, ECBs
are not connected to any specific product, so you could actually
purchase one product that produces an ECB and turn around and purchase
the same product again(as long as you haven’t reached your limit on that
item)and get another ECB!! Its a little bit hard to grasp until you
have used them and it comes together. You will love CVS as much as me
before you know it!!

The general concept here is that you are going to use ECBs to purchase other items that produce an ECB. You want to spend the least amount out of pocket (OOP). This is
just an idea, you can play around with it any way you want to with CVS,
there are very little restrictions on using your ECBs except that you
are limited to the number of deals that you can do since they are
connected to your ECB card. You also do NOT have to do them all at one
time, since they are connected to your card, you can do one transaction,
then go back and do another or even go to a different store if they
don’t have all of the merchandise that you are looking for.

I hope you all have a great weekend! Some of these deals are monthly deals, if you plan on getting in on them, try to go as early in the sale as possible. There are a lot of couponers out there, even if each person bought only one deal, the shelves will be cleared early on. CVS limits the number of deals that you can do which helps. If they don’t have the product on the shelf, ask for a rain check for sure.
