=Extra Care Bucks. ECB’s are like a customer appreciation program that
CVS has where they “Reward” their customers for shopping at their stores
and purchasing certain products. ECB’s are like cash in their
stores. Unlike Walgreens where the reward is attached to a product, ECBs
are not connected to any specific product, so you could actually
purchase one product that produces an ECB and turn around and purchase
the same product again(as long as you haven’t reached your limit on that
item)and get another ECB!! Its a little bit hard to grasp until you
have used them and it comes together. You will love CVS as much as me
before you know it!!

This is
just an idea, you can play around with it any way you want to with CVS,
there are very little restrictions on using your ECBs except that you
are limited to the number of deals that you can do since they are
connected to your ECB card. You also do NOT have to do them all at one
time, since they are connected to your card, you can do one transaction,
then go back and do another or even go to a different store if they
don’t have all of the merchandise that you are looking for. I am going
to try to end up with the lowest OOP for the most merchandise:
Transaction #1
BUY FIVE G Series Fit 02 ($1.00 each) OR TWO G Series 03 ($2.50 each)
PAY $5.00 OOP (plus tax) by get back $5.00 in ECBs
Transaction #2
BUY TWO Gain Liquid Dish Detergent ($.99 each)
BUY ONE Revlon Nail Enamel ($4.99 each)
Buy ONE small filler item like a single piece of candy or clearance item
USE TWO $.50/1 Gain coupons from the 8/14 RP insert
