THIS LOOKS LIKE A GOOD WEEK AT CVS, especially if you need some baby items!
it’s no secret that I love shopping at CVS. I have never been given a hard
time about using coupons and their ECBs are so easy to roll. Remember,
an ECB is a reward program that CVS offers where they give you back
EXTRA CARE BUCKS or ECB’s for purchasing certain items in their store.
You can turn around and use these ECB’s for ANYTHING else that you
purchase, including the same item that produced the ECB as long as you
haven’t hit your maximum allowed number of that item. All of your
purchases are attached to your ECB card, which limits the number of
transactions that you can to and still receive an ECB.
Always remember to scan your card
when you walk in the door at the ECB scanner (usually located very
close to the front door) because you will get some GREAT COUPONS out of
that machine!!
Also, remember that CVS will allow
you to use one of THEIR coupons and manufacturers coupon on the same
item!! Often you will receive the CVS coupons from the kiosk machine that you can use that very same day! The coupons that come out of the kiosk are CVS Store coupons and CVS will also put out other coupons in various booklets or coupon books.

REMEMBER, you can “Roll” your ECB’s from one item to another as long as you haven’t reached your max deal limit for that item. The ECB’s are not attached to any mfg so as long as you haven’t reached your deal max you can purchase the same item again and get another ECB! You can also split your transactions apart so that you have the lowest OOP. An example this week would be this:
You could do the Revlon Cosmetics deal, the Schick Hydro deal and the Dentyne Deal, pay $12.95 OOP but get back $9.99 in ECB’s. – THEN – turn around and do the Johnson’s / Desitin deal (this was Scenario #2), your total will be $15.00 after coupons, pay with the $9.99 in ECB’s plus $5.01 cash, you will then get back $10.00 in ECB’s.
The BOTTOM LINE is that you purchased $45.93 in merchandise. You will pay $17.95 OOP but would end up with $10.00 in ECB’s after all transactions to use on your next visit (or immediately after for something else), so the bottom line is that your total cost for everything is $7.95!! That is a savings of over 83%!! Does that make sense? I hope I explained it right
