Today is Friday, so that means we are going to let our hair down a little bit and have some fun. With the Halloween season upon us, you may be looking for some ways to fancy up your face with some haunting fun. Well you have stumbled upon the perfect tutorial to learn how to do exactly that. This DIY Spider Web Halloween Face Painting is so easy to create, and is the perfect accessory to wear to your next Halloween party or festive gathering. It takes just seconds to make, and all you need is an inexpensive black eyeliner. Take a look below at how to create your very own!
DIY Spider Web Halloween Face Painting
Supplies Needed:
- Black eyeliner…for our example we used a simple black pencil eyeliner that cost around $1
- Fine craft glitter or shimmer eye make up. Ours was a dollar store find for just $1.
Directions:
- First, wash the face so it is nice and clean and the make up will adhere well.
- Next, make four lines coming straight out of the top of the eye. They will look like long eyelashes.
- Then, create arches between each line, starting at the very top.
- Create more arches, spaced out evenly, between the lines until you are back down at the eyelid.
- You should now see what looks like a web. Time to add the spider!
- Make a thread from the corner of the web down to the cheek. Make it wavy and natural.
- At the end of the thread, create a small oval for the body and add eight tiny legs.
- Ready for some embellishment? Dust a light coating of shimmer eye shadow or fine glitter over the design while it is still fresh. Doing so while it is fresh will help it adhere well.
