DIY Peppermint Candy Wreath Ornament
Supplies needed:
Round peppermint candies, any color
Thin ribbon
Hot glue, glue gun
As mentioned, we were able to find everything at our local Dollar Tree store. They have an assortment of thin ribbon in a variety of holiday colors and patterns. Plus, large bags of mints can be found too, for just $1 of course!
Directions:
1. Begin by unwrapping your candies and setting them in a bowl so they can be easily accessible.
2. Add a dab of glue to the side corner of one mint. Quickly place the tip of a second mint next it. Press firmly together so they adhere. Continue this process working in a clock wise motion.
3. Once you have your first circle of mints, you are now going to place another layer of mints on top of it. Add a dab of glue to the bottom of your mint and place it where the original circle mints meet. This will be right on the joining seam.
4. Once your wreath is complete, just thread a ribbon through for hanging.
That’s all there is to creating your own peppermint candy ornament wreath! This is one sweet holiday treat your kids will love to craft and are sure to add a pop of holiday color to your home.
