I mentioned this on September 13th HERE , but I thought that I would talk about it again since many of you have been talking about Christmas presents and asking me how I get toys and things so cheaply during the holidays.

 

NOW is the time to think about Christmas and plan ahead so that you don’t spend very much money.  Just last night I posted on our Facebook page about a deal at Toys ‘R Us where you can get 6 board games for $1.96 with the right combination of coupons.  Thats crazy!  The coupon prints went very fast, so hopefully you were able to get in on it, but if not, don’t worry, there will be other deals that come along from now thru the holidays.  Last year there was a B1G1 mfg coupon for My Little Ponies and they went on BOGO at Toys ‘R Us so I was able to get FOUR FREE!!  I will be posting about these deals as they come up, the first place that I post is on our Facebook page because I can do that from my mobile phone and it is really quick and easy to do.  Posting to the blog takes a little more time so I do that in the evenings.  Also, many of our Coupon Friends that have taken our class or found us on Facebook will post to our page as well and we all share deals, SWEET!  Remember though, if you want to get in on the deal and there is a printable coupon PRINT RIGHT AWAY!!  If we are posting the deal, chances are very quickly so will a zillion other blogs.  Thats how it works in the coupon world

Okay, now for my favorite.. SWAGBUCKS is a really easy way to earn money that you can use online to purchase Christmas presents.  I wrote a quick blog on it last week HERE and since that date, I have earned almost 1200 more Swagbucks by doing NOTHING other that what I normally do online which is search for stuff.  That 1200 Swagbucks will earn me THREE $5.00 Amazon gift cards ($15.00 total) which I will use to purchase Christmas presents closer to the holidays.  At the rate that I am going, If I earn $15.00 worth per week, by Christmas I will have an extra $210.00 of FREE MONEY to spend.  BUT.. there are other ways that I can earn even MORE Swagbucks to bring that total up higher.  I expect to have somewhere in the neighborhood of $600.00 worth of Amazon or Target Gift Cards from Swagbucks before the holidays.   Here are the basics of how it works. 

**You download the Swagbucks toolbar onto your browser.  You do nothing other than carry on like you normally would going online and searching for various different things.  You will earn swagbucks randomly and they add up really quickly (thats how I got almost 1200 in just over a week)

THIS IS WHAT THE TOOLBAR LOOKS LIKE (shrunk down to fit the blog):

**You can earn more Swagbucks by doing any online shopping that you would normally do by using your Swagbucks toolbar.  They give you 2 Swagbucks for every $1 you spend. 

**You can sign up to take short (5 minutes generally) surveys that will earn you Swagbucks.  Today I had the opportunity to do four short surveys that would have totaled 400 Swagbucks, I don’t have time today so I will likely pass, but I could literally take 20 minutes out of my day every day just doing survey’s and earn a $5.00 Amazon Gift Card.  That alone would total $470.00 in gift cards just on surveys (94 days till Christmas).

**Recycle old cell phones.  While writing this I realized that you can recycle your old cell phone for Swagbucks.  I had one in the drawer right next to me, so plugged in my information and I will get 936 FREE Swagbucks for sending in my old phone!  That thing would have sat in the drawer for years until I threw it away likely, but now it will go towards my Christmas presents.  WHERE ARE ALL OF OUR OTHER OLD PHONES!!  Now I’m on a mission!!

Those are just a FEW of the many ways that you can earn Swagbucks.  The first thing that you need to do is to sign up .  Its FREE and you won’t even notice any difference in the way that you do things online.  There is a little tally box at the top of your screen and you will see your number go up each day.  Its pretty exciting! 

NOTE:  Swagbucks is BIG on NO SPAM so you will not receive ANY garbage from them by email.  They do not share your private information with anyone so that is something that you can feel confident about. 

**ONCE YOU HAVE EARNED a bunch of Swagbucks, you can go to the PRIZE section of the Swagbucks site and redeem them for Gift Cards from a bunch of different stores, you can use Swagbucks to make purchases in the Swagbucks store also which has a lot of really cool things during the holidays.  Amazon gift cards are the way to maximize your money.  You buy them in $5.00 increments and it is the best way to go. You have the opportunity to purchase larger increments but when you figure it out, the best way is the buy then in $5.00’s.  You can then transfer these directly over to your Amazon account and they are all combined for the total amount of money that you have.  You do not have to use them all at once.  Amazon ships for free for purchases over $25.00 and you will almost ALWAYS get the best price by purchasing thru Amazon.
