Don’t you love decorating for spring? You can make this simple spring stationary banner with nothing but a package of stationary and some string. How easy is that? So even if you are crunched for time and don’t feel like you have time to get creative, think again. This is a simple spring craft you can whip up in just minutes.
Supplies needed:
Package of mini stationary
String
Scissors
Glue
We found this package of stationary at our local Michael’s Craft store in their dollar section. The whole package with envelopes cost just $1. You can’t beat that! We already had string (or you can use yarn) as well as scissors and glue in our craft supplies so our total cost for this project was a single dollar bill.
Directions:
1. Begin by folding each card over the string.
2. Add a dab of glue to the inside of the card so the two sides merge together. This will also keep the card on the string securely.
3. Take your scissors and cut the corners off of your coordinating envelopes.
4. Glue the corners to the top of each card as an embellishment.
Your spring stationary banner is now ready to go. How sweet would this look in your office or kitchen? It is sure to add a pop of color and spring charm. To hang, just add thumb tacks or even tape to the ends and press to the desired surface. Easy peasy!
Head to your local craft store and gather the supplies you need to make your own. Then, head over to our Facebook page or Community Chat page and share your creation. We love to see what you are up to and so do your friends! So brag a little, would ya?
Happy crafting!
