Are you ready to spruce up your home for spring? You don’t have to go overboard, in fact the smaller changes can have a huge impact. For example, take a look at the sweet and simple spring centerpiece I created below. It only cost me a few dollars to make and it took a whole 5 minutes to assemble. How cute will this centerpiece look on my table, work desk, or even to give as a gift? Take a look at how you can make your own and bring spring into your space for less.
Sweet and Simple Spring Centerpiece
Supplies needed:
Felt flower picks
Faux moss
Small flower pot
Ribbon or yarn
I found all of these items at my local Hobby Lobby craft store. My total cost was just a few dollars with plenty of supplies left over for future craft projects. Since this is a simple glue free and paint free craft, it is a also a great one to do with the kiddos if you need an activity to keep them busy. Fun and frugal, you can’t beat that!
Directions:
1. Begin by filling your flower pot with faux moss. Make it nice and full since it will keep your flowers in place.
2. Tie a ribbon or piece of yarn around the your pot.
3. Stick the flower picks directly into the pot. Put as many as you wish. We liked the look of three but you can make it as full as you would like.
Now all you need to do is display your spring centerpiece wherever you need some spring charm! This craft is so easy, family friendly, and easy on your budget. So why not try crafting your own?
Head over to the Facebook page or Community Chat page when you are done and share your creation. We would love to have the chance to admire it!
Happy crafting!
