PUBLIX Weekly Deals 2/17 – 2/23

WOOHOO and I will say it again… WOOHOO!! This is a great week at Publix! I am so excited that I must post my happy dance dudes one more week! (they crack me up)
FIRST THINGS FIRST, if you haven’t already printed your PROGRESSIVE ITALIAN DAYS STORE coupons yet, you need to do that right away. CLICK HERE to print (unlimited print for now). You will be using these coupons, trust me.
NOTE: There are a couple important things that I want to mention to each of you before you get started with the deals for this week.
Last year when the Italian Days coupons came out, there was a lot of discussion about using the $5.00/20 coupon in addition to the $1.00/4 coupons (and various other coupons) that are on the coupon sheet in stores (and printable). The final outcome of that at our local stores was that you HAD to buy 20 of the item in order to use the $5.00/20 coupon, so they would allow you to use both in one transaction. There were issues with this at the beginning of the sale as the stores adjusted to what they would or would not accept. **There have been no problem using the $5.00/20 coupon in addition to the others reported as of the first day of the sale. We will update if any issues arise.
If you plan on doing a transaction purchasing 20 items such as the one’s that I lay out in the matchups, please limit your transaction to one (20 item purchase) at a time since none of the stores will allow you to use more than one $5.00/20 coupon per visit. With that said, the stores CAN restrict the number of these coupons that you use in a single transaction, so be courteous and don’t go crazy buying everything in one big giant transaction and getting upset at the register if they restrict the number of these coupons that you use. Pace yourself through the week and stock up on the products that you want while this deal is going on. THIS IS A STOCKUP WEEK FOR SURE on these products. The stores will be FULLY STOCKED with huge displays of these items all week. This is a big promotion that they do each year.
I will try to go and do one transaction on the first day of the sale to see if there will be any issue this year using the combination of coupons that I have outlined in the match ups. I would be surprised if there was, but you know how some stores can be quirky and things can change. If there are any changes to the use of these coupons, I will let you all know as soon as I know.
