HERE WE GO AGAIN!! What a GREAT week at Publix! Plenty of deals and stock up prices! Please be courteous to others and do not clear the shelves. There is plenty to go around and everyone wants to get in on the deals
- Publix has a printed coupon policy that can be found at the customer service desk and at most registers in the store.
- Each Store will have their own list of competitors. Make sure that you check with your store before shopping if you don’t already know who their competitors are. Ocala stores do NOT accept Target as a competitor at this point, the stores in the Villages and possibly Gainesville do. Most other regions do.
- In Florida, Publix does not double coupons. In other states many stores will double coupons up to $.50 each. We do not pay sales tax on food in Florida.
- Each store does have the right to restrict the number of BOGO deals that you buy per visit as well as the number of store coupons that they will accept for each transaction. This helps to avoid the shelves being cleared on the first day of the sale when an item is free or cheap.
- If you would like to purchase a larger quantity of one item, try speaking with the grocery manager prior to the sale starting to see if they can order it for you in advance. It is best to explain that you will be using coupons for this transaction. Most stores are very accommodating.
- Publix has a wonderful coupon policy and strives to make “shopping a pleasure”. If you ever have an issue, it is best to speak with a manager or move forward with the transaction and go up to the customer service desk after your transaction to get your issue resolved. It is never appropriate to give the cashier a hard time. If you are using a coupon that you know is correct, just ask to speak with a manager instead of getting upset. I always say “don’t accept no from someone that wasn’t authorized to say yes in the first place”.
