YIPPEY! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE rolling Register Rewards at Walgreens, it is so fun!
Many of you want to get in on the action and this week is a GOOD week to jump in!
First let me say, each store may vary slightly in price, so your OOP might be a little off this way or that. Also, for some unknown reason, the tax is calculated differently from store to store at times.. some before coupons, some after coupons and so forth. So don’t get all weird if your totals aren’t EXACTLY what I say here, they will be pretty close though.
THIS IS A FUN SCENARIO! Try it out for yourself!!! YES, I do separate transactions. YES, I will do them all in one big run. YES, if the line is backing up I will stop after one or two and go to the back of the line for the rest. YES, I do try to go to either the beauty counter or photo if possible. YES, I DO profile cashiers, haha! Whew.. got those all out of the way, lets get started!!
Ok so I am breaking up the no RR scenarios because some just don’t have RR’s to start with but DO have coupons. Most people who are new to rolling will not. This is for you!
Scenario #1
1 Dove Shampoo or Conditioner $4
Total= $4
Minus
$1.50/1 Dove from 3/28 inserts
Total Oop= $2.50 earn $4 RR
Scenario #2
1 Dentek $2
1 Wags Vitamins $3
Total= $5

$4 RR from Dove
Total Oop= $1 earn $2 RR and $3 RR
Scenario #3
1 Dulcolax $10 (I told you that you would be buying this for FREE / necessary RRs and you all laughed at me!)
2 Easter Cups or Gift Sacks .13 ea (they actually end up being 2 for .25)

Start over at scenario #4 and then go to scenario #5 then #6 and repeat (back to 4 then 5 then 6) OKAY.. so follow me here, you basically have approx. $5.50 OOP and you end up with over $50.00 worth of product and you STILL end up with $10.00 RR in your pocket at the end!! That is a $4.50 MONEY MAKER in my book!! heehee, isn’t this fun?
**By the way, RUMOR has it that DOVE and JOHN FRIEDA are rolling into themselves, meaning that you can buy DOVE for $4.00, get a $4.00 RR back and turn around and buy another DOVE with the $4.00 RR that you just got! I can’t promise this because I haven’t tried it myself, but ALOT of people have said that it is rolling. This is highly unusual, so don’t think this happens often.. its a BLUE MOON out I guess!! **Plus there is a coupon for DOVE and John Frieda which makes it even sweeter; lets say you have the coupon of $1.50 off for Dove and only owe $2.50 for the Dove after coupon, you buy something else for $1.50 and use the $4.00 RR to pay for it and get BOTH free!! then do it again!! DANG.. now I want to go to the 24 hour Walgreens! What am I waiting for??
