Before I announce the second giveaway I have to tell you all how touched and humbled I was with the comments that you left on the first giveaway. They really touched my heart and made me realize just how much this has helped so many of you. In the class I talk about my situation and the economy and how I started using coupons and explain how it has blessed my family and provided a way that I can give to others as well. When things were really tough and everything that I heard was doom and gloom, using coupons gave me a renewed sense of HOPE and excitement that things would be okay.

Suddenly I had a new hop to my step, I was smiling and excited and wanting to share the information with everyone that would listen. Not only was I spending a fraction of what I did previously on my groceries, but my pantry was filled and I had way more than enough which made it possible for me to give and give and give to others! My friend Elaine, my daughter Erica and I couldn’t believe how much we could save by using coupons and we wanted to tell everyone!

Friends and family that have known me for years have heard me say a million times that above all I just want to be a blessing and help other people. When we started this Coupon Craze I honestly had no idea that it would spread as quickly as it has and that so many people would not only understand what we were trying to explain but JUMP ON THE TRAIN and ride it with us!! You all have been so awesome!

Thank you all for being so awesome. Thank you for sharing your coupons, your knowledge and groceries with others. Thank you for helping us continue to hold classes by spreading the word and telling people who we are and what our mission is.

The last one was so fun that I have to give you another little adventure. Since there are so many of you that are clearly rockin’ your coupons, I KNOW that you have also gone over the edge with at least ONE particular product that you were getting for free or cheap where you bought too much. Ain’t no shame in my game, I’m not afraid to admit that I did it, haha!

My story first, about a month into extreme couponing I realized that Target had a deal going on Breyers Ice Cream and Klondike bars where you would receive a $5.00 gift card if you purchased five products. Well, after coupons I also realized that it would cost me $5.00 to purchase FIVE half gallons of ice cream or FIVE 8 packs of Klondike bars and I would be getting a $5.00 gift card back making them FREE! WHAT? FREE ICE CREAM?? Thus the trip over the edge began…I purchased five half gallons, paid $5.00, got the gift card, then proceeded to use the gift card to purchase the NEXT five half gallons, got another gift card, purchased ANOTHER five half gallons before I came to my senses and realized that I hadn’t purchased any Klondike bars yet and did that deal three times too! OH MY GOODNESS, I just bought FIFTEEN half gallons of ice cream and a total of FIFTEEN 8 packs of Klondikes which totaled 120 Klondikes and got it ALL FOR FREE! Yes, its true, I did that. The big problem came to light when I got home and couldn’t fit it into my freezer. Needless to say, I had very happy family members and neighbors that night. We STILL have one package of Klondikes in our freezer!
