With the arrival of fall and cooler weather, it is time to prepare for cold and flu season! Do you have a strategy before the cooties hit your home or do you just hope for the best each year? I am a planner, so I always take steps to prepare and thought that I would share these tips with you!
- Stock up on supplies. Be prepared before cold and flu season hits. Load up on tissues and make sure that you have sickness essentials – like Sinex products from Walmart on hand. Sinex products from Walmart provide long-lasting relief from stuffiness and congestion and the daytime products provide relief without grogginess!
You all know that I am all about saving money, so I was thrilled to see that there are several ways to save on Sinex at Walmart on our favorite products!
$1.00 off any Sinex product at Walmart BrandSAVER coupon in the 10/28 newspaper
$3.00 iBotta offer on Sinex Liquicaps, Sinex Mist and Sinex VapoCOOL starting 11/7
$4.00 off Sinex products at Walmart through 11/10 when you combine these offers!
During cold and flu season, we can’t live without a full stock of Sinex Severe Sinus Pressure & Pain Non-Drowsy LiquiCaps. This is our main go-to medicine that keeps us functioning while recovering, it really works! We also swear by the Sinex Mist which provides us the relief that we need to breathe at night and get a good night’s sleep when we are sick.
- Be strict about washing hands. As we all know, germy hands spread cooties. Wash your hands often and remind your kids to wash their hands for 20 seconds or longer each time. We always told our kids to sing the song “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” twice while washing their hands to make sure they were good and clean.
- Switch to Paper Products. If anyone in your house is sick, switch to using paper towels instead of hand cloths in the bathroom and disposable paper or plastic cups. This will help to prevent transferring germs from one person to another.
- Get plenty of rest and eat right. Prevention is your best option to avoid getting a cold or the flu. Get plenty of rest and eat balanced meals to give your immune system the best opportunity to fight any germs that come your way!
Hopefully we all will avoid catching a cold or the flu this season, but if the cooties do hit our home I know that I will be prepared with my Sinex products from Walmart! What tips do you have to prepare for cold & flu season? Please share them in the comments below!
