Yummy Yummy you are going to LOVE this dish!
It is super easy to make and your house will be smelling delightful ALL DAY!!

Many of us were able to score the Smithfield Ham Slices super cheap using coupons recently, I also had a coupon for produce so decided to combine the cheapie deals with a few other ingredients I had already to make an inexpensive yet hearty dinner for the family!!

Ingredients needed

SONY DSC

1 to 1 ½ lb. ham steak

6 medium russet potatoes

1 -10 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup

½ can half and half (milk will work as well)

1- 8 oz. bag shredded cheddar cheese

1 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. hot water

1 ½ tsp. garlic salt

2 tsp. pepper

1 small onion

Directions

SONY DSC

Gather ingredients, dice onion and ham steak

Wash potatoes well and slice into 1/8 “ to 1/4” slices

Spray inside crockpot bottom and sides with non-stick cooking spray

Place all ingredients in a large bowl, stir well to combine evenly

Pour all ingredients into crockpot  and cook on low for 6-7 hours (or high 4- 4 1/2 hrs), stirring occasionally

Please let me know if you try this recipe and what you think!  My husband really liked this one!
