Wagreens Double Dips for Saturday Jan 11th ONLY

What is a Double Dip at Walgreens?
A double dip is when TWO SALES overlap with each other which create the opportunity to “double dip” on your savings. Basically the idea is that you are getting the savings from the existing weeks sale AND the savings for the upcoming weeks sale.
Here is an example:
Lets say that Cheeto’s were on sale for $2.00 per bag this week (reg $3.69) and they were on BOGO next week at the regular price of $3.69. On Saturday, this sale “MAY” overlap (doesn’t always happen), if it does, you would be able to get TWO BAGS BOGO at $2.00 meaning you would pay $1.00 per bag. If you waited until Sunday when the new ad started you would get two bags for $3.69 since they would be back to the regular price for the new BOGO sale.
It doesn’t always work out as planned
Keep in mind that this is one of those deals that may or may not be valid in your store. Now ALL stores turn over their new sales at the same time although most do. No one knows for sure what will be a “double dip” until Saturday when the deals turn over and are tried by others. If you miss the deal or it isn’t available at your store that is just the way it is, dust yourself off and move on to the next deal. Also, as most of us know, Walgreens can be a little bit complicated when it comes to couponing and acceptance of coupons so plan out your deals and keep it as simple as you can.

I believe the points is a monthly deal. It looks to me like buy 2 for $5.98 use $5/2 from 1/5 SS = pay $.98 get 2000pts.
Keep in mind that the stores are not aware of the double dips for the most part so any questions will not be able to be answered and this may or may not work so it is always at your own risk! I am not a HUGE Walgreens shopper myself, so just passing this information along to those coupon freaks who love WAGS. These deals are NOT recommended for newbies as they are very confusing and may or may NOT work.
