Walgreens Best Deals 4/24 – 4/30

I must confess, I LOVE going to Walgreens on the same day as any Holiday. They almost always have things already marked down on clearance, so if you decide to go make SURE that you bring your binder with you!
This week is REALLY slow at Walgreens but there are a couple of freebies and cheapies. Your best bet will be the clearance items in my opinion!
REMEMBER to take your WALGREENS PRINTABLE COUPON POLICY with you, trust me, it helps if there is any question from the cashier on coupon usage.
For the newbies, RR’s are
Register Rewards, they are in essence a reward that the manufacturer has
agreed to give you back if you purchase certain items from them. They
can be redeemed for other merchandise in the store. If you purchase the
same item that originally produced a Register Reward or another product
from the same manufacturer you usually will not receive another
Register Reward.
The deals below show
you how much the item is, which coupons to use, how much you will pay
out of pocket (OOP) and what reward (if any) you will get back. The
bottom line is often AFTER you get the register reward for that item. I
always suggest that when you first start shopping at Walgreens, you do
one of the “Rolling Scenarios” at the bottom of this post. This will
give you a good idea on how register rewards work and you will see for
yourself how much you can save at Walgreens. Try not to vary too much
off the track of the scenarios posted or you may end up not getting one
of the rewards that are mentioned.

Register Rewards ROLLING SCENARIO
This
is a scenario for those of you that are “Rolling” your Register
Rewards. What that means is that you are purchasing items that produce a
register reward and rolling that reward into another item that produces
another reward. It can get confusing because there are rules about
using these, if you roll it into another item from the same mfg you will
usually not get another RR back and in most cases you can not roll your
RR back into the same item and get another RR. This week’s rolling
scenario is from Christie at WildForWags. She does a great job at keeping up with everything Walgreens and did a very simple scenario for this week.

merchandise and 14 items.
So the bottom line is that you are getting paid $3.04 to take all this stuff home!
