What are Register Rewards (RRs)?
RR’s are coupons from the Catalina machine next to the register that print after you make a qualifying purchase in the same transaction. Most RRs are “On Your Next Order” (OYNO) which can be used like cash on your next order (the next order can be immediately following the first order as a second or third transaction). Sometimes you will get a coupon for $ off a specific item. These seem to be generated by the purchase of competitor items.  You can use the RR to purchase the same item, but usually you will not receive another RR when you do that.  The idea is to “roll” your RR’s by purchasing one item that produced an RR and using that RR to purchase another item that produces an RR.  It’s kind of complicated at Walgreens, but well worth it if you decide to dive in!
