NICE WEEK AT WALGREENS!! I know that some of you have been really doing great these past few weeks getting freebie after freebie at Walgreens which is awesome! I must say, in my opinion, Walgreens can be a little annoying on occasion unless you have a fabulous store with great employee’s (who usually coupon themselves) and when you do its GREAT! You really can accumulate many freebies in one week with great rolling scenario’s since they don’t limit you to the number of deals that you do.
For the newbies, here is some important information to know about Walgreens:
RR’s=Register Rewards. RR’s are a reward that you get from certain manufacturers for purchasing specific products. In most cases you cannot “Roll” an RR from an item back into the same item and receive another RR. I have listed a few scenarios at the bottom of this post that will help you “Roll” your Register Rewards to maximize your savings! Its really fun once you get the hang of it, but take it slow and pace yourself, you don’t have to do all the deals at one time.
Walgreens has published their official coupon policy which can be found HERE! You should print this policy and put it into your binder in the Walgreens divider so that you always have it while shopping there.

Different types of Walgreens coupons:
There are several different types of Walgreens coupons. You have in-ad coupons which MUST be scanned in order to get the specific price. There are Instant Value Coupons (IVC) which are in little booklets at the front of the store near the sales ads, these coupon books are long and skinny and have a BUNCH of coupons in them. You do not need to cut these coupons out, just have the cashier scan them right out of the book. Also, if you are purchasing more than one item, the register will automatically multiply the IVC coupon by however many items you are purchasing. You will also find regular Walgreens coupons in various booklets that you will find thru the store. There are childrens activity booklets that look like little coloring books that cost $.99 each that have a variety of coupons, you DO NOT have to clip out the coupon and the cashier DOES NOT have to take the coupon when you use it, you can use the coupons in this booklet over and over as long as they are valid!
