I want to start out by saying that Walgreens is not always the easiest store to deal with when using coupons. I can not stress to you enough how IMPORTANT it is for you to PRINT their coupon policy and take it to the store with you just in case you have an issue. The policy spells out exactly what they will and will not do and clarifies any issue immediately. You can access and print the policy by clicking HERE .

Most of the deals are Register Rewards deals which means that after you purchase the particular item, you will receive a RR (Register Reward) immediately after that you can use to purchase another item. You can not use an RR from one manufacturer to purchase another item from the SAME manufacturer that produces an RR or it will not give you the new RR. This gets complicated because you never know which manufacturers are connected to one another. To make this easier, I will be posting a “Rolling Scenario” at the bottom of this post outlining exactly how you can use one RR to purchase another item using the RR from the previous transaction. Confused yet? Don’t be, the deals outlined are fairly simple. If you find yourself getting confused or nervous, just stop after one transaction, regain your composure and go back and do another and so forth. You do not have to do them all at the exact same time, you have three days to complete the scenario as long as they have the product on the shelves!

Alrighty, this is where it gets good!! Below is a HUGE Rolling Scenario for you to use during the Black Friday deals. I am keeping it very uncomplicated and using VERY FEW coupons in this scenario. You will notice that there are coupons that can go with some of these items, but it gets a little confusing so I have left them out. If you want to buy additional items in your transaction and add the coupons you can do that, but there is some kind of issue with P&G where you will not get an RR if you are using a P&G coupon or RR so be careful with P&G coupons.

Again, keep in mind that you do NOT have to do this all in one run, you can do one or a few transactions, stop, and come back and do a few more. If you notice that the line is starting to get backed up just offer to go to the end of the line to move thru your deals. I will usually go to the Beauty Counter or the Photo Counter when I am doing multiple rolling transactions. Make sure that you have your COUPON POLICY with you (link at the top of this post) in case there is any issue.

These are really fun deals and you are going to get yourself a REALLY GOOD DEAL if you complete all of the transactions. Consider it an adventure!! Go get ’em! You can do it!

**NOTE** Out of Pocket (OOP) will vary depending on price in your area, tax and cost of your fillers. I am giving you a close estimate, but don’t get stuck on the exact OOP, it will vary but you will still in the end be getting a LOT of freebies!!

**NOTE** Me and several other coupon freaks (you know who you are) were at Walgreens tonight at midnight to try the rolling scenario. There were a couple of little blips that we had to figure out when doing the transaction. On a couple of the items, you MUST get a specific flavor or scent for the RR to print. Also, the SODA was not producing the $1.00 RR. You can either leave it out of the scenario completely or go ahead and get it and have the manager refund the amount after you have completed all of your transactions. I would carry on and then get it refunded at the end. I have updated the items requiring something specific in RED with what it requires. **ALSO, your OOPs will vary slightly due to tax, etc.
