Take a peek at how to make your own!
DIY Valentine’s Day Gift Basket
Supplies needed:
Pink or red paper party hat
Red, pink, or Valentine’s Day themed craft paper
Heart cut outs
Scissors
Tape or glue
We were able to find all of these materials at our local craft and dollar store. Use what is easiest or whatever you already have on hand.
Directions:
1. Begin by cutting a 1 inch wide strip of craft paper.
2. Tape or glue the paper to the inside sides of the hat.
3. Add some tape or glue to your heart cut outs. We used simple heart shapes we found at our local dollar store. You can cut your own out of scrap paper if you wish or use stickers. Press the shapes/stickers/cut outs to your hat.
You can now fill the Valentine’s Day gift basket with some shredded paper, tissue paper, or even tinsel. Then, add sweet treats such as candy, chocolate, or other treats of your choosing. You can even put a gift card, silk flowers, or anything else you wish inside. It is quite roomy so you can stuff a lot of treats in it!
Give this simple DIY Valentine’s Day gift basket a try. It is so simple, inexpensive, and just plain fun! When you are done, be sure to share your creation on our Facebook page or Community Chat page. We love to see how crafty you guys are!
Happy crafting!
